My Daughter Might Be Reading This!

I got a text message from my daughter yesterday. That’s not so unusual, we chat a lot via text. The highlight of my day is when, in the middle of a meeting from hell, with hell’s minions droning on in monotones about the accounting standards issues in the 8th circle of hell that are all going to heaven and who the hell’s to blame for it…I get a text from my baby girl!

Yesterday’s text said something like “btw, ive been reading ur blog. My friend blogs im gonna give her ur url so she can understand ur awesomeness! Im gonna start my own blog when I get motivated and figure it out. I’ll leave tons o comments!”

*sigh* She’s the best daughter a mom could ever hope for.

In other news, my son is starting to fill up the garage with his stuff. Well, I should say trying to find places to fill the garage up even more...and his girlfriend is going to keep the grandkitties. *weep!* I may never see them again.

Yay!

I think everyone should have a blog... or two. *L*

Can't you sue for visitation?

Hey hey! I did read it! And I already knew little miss "steal the kittens" was in fact going to...steal the kittens. But I didn't want to break your heart...so I'll kick her..and take the cats...and run. I love you!

Dear Dawno's Daughter,

If you are reading this now, I want you to know . . . not only does your Mom ooze awesomeness, she is a blogging goddess. Her blogger/blogging support in the AW forum have been an enormous help to me in setting up my blog. She even added my blog to her writing blog list. Now I ask you, how awesome is that?

Now run out and buy her an awesome Mother's Day gift!

I hope she didn't find that post in the archives about you, those three Chippendale dancers, and the bathtub full of jello. That would be just too embarrassing.

uh, Mark - she's the one who ordered the Chippendale's dancers...yes, yes, the jello was my idea...but she's used to having a quirky mom...

There'd be some explaining to do if my mother ever found my blog...

Transdimensional portals and all...

*waves from San Diego*

Happy Mother's Day from your daughter's blogging friend!

Just to let you know, she's not going too wild down here on her own, and I swear, I had nothing to do with the pictures of the zebra that may or may not surface somewhere online...

j/k, she's awesomeness on rye toast and has saved my sanity at work many a time.

*continues waving till it just becomes odd*

Selana, thank you for the Mother's Day wishes (you'll be amused to hear that my daughter hasn't called yet today)

I couldn't agree with you more about her awesomeness - and she's been saving my sanity for 18+ years, isn't it a gift?

As for the zebra piccies - well, if she ignores the Chippendale/jello ones mentioned above, we're even...
