I personally enjoy the 25 Random Things bit (I put mine up on facebook), just because it made me think about myself for a while...something I rarely do normally.
Plus, I've discovered things about my friends that I never knew before.
I kinda like the 25 Things Meme going around. You find out the oddest things about people.
I kind of like the idea for the same reasons both of you have mentioned. I'm thinking rather than doing as a list, posting one random thing (tagged) a day...
